Carnival Competition Booking terms and Conditions

  1. Offer is capacity controlled and not combinable with any other discount or promotional offer.
  2. Offer includes complimentary cruise fare for the Prize Winner and their guests travelling in the same cabin up to the maximum occupancy allowed.
  3. Prize winner is responsible for the payment of gratuities and onboard expenses.
  4. Offer is limited to one cabin per Prize Winner.
  5. Prize Winner must sail in order to take advantage of the offer.
  6. No name changes allowed.
  7. Accommodations are assigned by Carnival and are final once booking is made.
  8. Valid on new individual bookings only.
  9. Restrictions on sailings include 1st may 2016, 6th August 2016 and 21st October 2016. Passengers cannot sail on this date.
  10. The completion is cruise only, therefore prize winner is responsible for all other travel.
  11. The department of Homeland Security requires specific guest information prior to departure. To comply, you must register in advance by going online to www.carnival.com/bookedguest
  12. Smoking is prohibited in all guest staterooms. Guests may only smoke outside on their stateroom balcony. All Spa suites and staterooms, inclusive of the balconies, are an entirely smoke-free environment. Guests who smoke in their stateroom will be assessed a $250 USD cleaning and refreshing fee on their Sail & Sign Account.
  13. Carnival may require that staterooms with the capacity to accommodate 3 or more guests be fully occupied. Carnival reserves the right to move guests to a comparable stateroom if the stateroom is booked with fewer than the maximum number of guests the stateroom can accommodate or a partial guest cancellation occurs and the remaining number of guests do not match the maximum number of guests the stateroom can accommodate.
  14. Carnival Cruise Lines must be advised of any medical or physical requirement at least 14 days prior to departure by contacting Carnival’s Guest Access Services desk at specialneeds@carnival.com
  15. Pregnant Guests whose estimated gestational age on the day of disembarkation is 24 completed weeks or less will not be allowed to sail. Pregnant women less than 24 completed weeks or les, on the day of disembarkation must submit, prior to departure, a letter from her attending physician certifying that her gestational status is in accordance with this policy, and that the expecting mother is fit to sail. Because the safety of the pregnant mother and unborn child is our number one concern, Carnival will not accept any agreement or recommendation from the Guest and/or her physician that the policy be waived.   16. Your booking is subject to Carnival Cruise Holiday Booking Terms and Conditions. The terms contain important information about your rights and responsibilities. It is important for you to read these terms and conditions and that you become acquainted with these since they address important limitations on liability of carriage by air and sea, and on the guests’ right to assert claims against Carnival Cruise Lines the vessel, their agents and employee and others. The terms contain information on the applicable law, arbitration, time limitations, and the proper venue in which to file suit.   17. Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. It is the guest’s sole responsibility to bring and have available at all times all required travel documents. Guests are advised to check with the appropriate government authority to determine the necessary documents. Non US Citizens must have a valid passport and ESTA visa.
  18. ESTA means Electronic System for Travel Authorization. ESTA is an online application for passengers wishing to enter the United States under the Visa waiver program. It is a mandatory requirement to carry during travel a printed ESTA approval; you may be refused boarding any flight or ship, calling in the US, if you fail to show the ESTA approval. An application must be completed for each person travelling, including minors. Issuance of the ESTA visa is conditioned to payment. Please do not delay applying for the ESTA visa.   19. All cruise holiday packages sold by Carnival that do not include flights from the UK are protected under the ABTA scheme of financial protection. In the unlikely event of Carnival’s insolvency, ABTA will ensure that UK guests booked on such packages are not stranded aboard and will arrange to refund any money to Carnival for an advance booking.
