Part of the Royal Caribbean group, Azamara provides a more luxurious touch than the company’s resort-style ships and the modern elegance of Celebrity. The line has pioneered the concepts of longer stays in port, more overnight stops, and even night touring which have now been widely copied by others. Every cruise includes a spectacular one-of-a-kind Azamazing Evening event. Azamara’s two ships were originally the R6 and R7 of Renaissance Cruises and the line is in direct competition with Oceania which itself has three former R ships. In Europe for the summer, they visit Asia, the Caribbean, Panama Canal and South America in winter. Gratuities included, along with soft drinks, beer, wine, and basic spirits. Extra-cost packages are available for premium brands.
