In keeping with increasing demand for extraordinary experiences, Crystal Cruises is introducing VIP access to the British Open this summer, with excursions to four of the UK’s most prestigious golf courses.
During Crystal Symphony’s 12-night sailing from Dover on July 13, there are two opportunities for golf enthusiasts to attend the Open at the Royal Birkdale Club in Liverpool, which will feature Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and defending champ Padraig Harrington.
One option, costing $ 292 per person, provides admittance, while the other ($ 991 per person) extends VIP access to the final round and a hosted event. Complementing tickets to the Open are opportunities to play the likes of Gleneagles King’s Course, the K-Club in Ireland, Carton House and The Royal Belfast Golf Club.
Guests can take advantage of standard Crystal amenities, including the instruction of an onboard PGA golf pro, Taylormade equipment for onboard clinics, a putting green and a driving range. Crystal recommends golfers bring their own clubs, as rental at the courses is based on availability.
