Costa’s Single Celebration

Costa Cruises is reducing its single supplement by up to 50 per cent for bookings made after December 1, 2009.

The initiative has been introduced to make cruising more affordable for solo travellers and brings the single supplement down to as low as 30 per cent.

Costa Cruises managing director Marco Costa explained: “Cruising is the perfect holiday for those travelling alone because there is always something to do, particularly aboard Costa ships. We have excellent entertainment, fantastic dining experiences and a wide choice of shore excursions, perfect whether you want to enjoy some alone-time or meet like-minded people.”

They list two of the new cruise opportunities as follows:

Costa Luminosa – Dubai, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain; 7 nights from only £700.70 for a single person in a double inside cabin (cruise only), departing Dubai, UAE, on March 6, 2010.

Costa Pacifica - Return to the Holy Land, including Ashdod (Israel), Port Said and Alexandria (Egypt); 7 nights from only £836.70 for a single person in a double inside cabin (cruise only), departing Civitavecchia (Rome) on January 18, 2010.
