The exclusive Golden Eagle train, which operates between Moscow and Yalta, will now have an exclusive opportunity to take in an opera and ballet tour as part of the Moscow-St Petersburg leg of the journey.
The programme has been developed in connection with the world-famous Mariinsky Theatre and will include four evening performances at some of the most famous opera houses in Russia and the Ukraine, including the Mariinsky (Kirov) in St Petersburg and the Bolshoi in Moscow The nine-day itinerary departs November 9, 2011, and runs from Moscow to Vladimir, Suzdal, Kiev, Odessa and St Petersburg.
