Zombies are set to take over the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship

Walker Stalker Cruise

Atlanta based Sixthman has teamed up with Walker Stalker Con to host a zombie themed cruise from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas in January 2016 aboard Norwegian Pearl.

Billed as “the best place to be when a zombie apocalypse breaks loose” the three-day Walker Stalker Cruise will see the popular zombie, horror & sci-fi fan convention take place on-board the Norwegian Cruise Line ship between 15 and 18 January 2016.

Actors from The Walking Dead will be on-board including Norman Reedus (Daryl), Chandler Riggs (Carl), Emily Kinney (Beth), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Lawrence Gilliard Jr. (Bob), and Ross Marquand (Aaron).

The dress code for the Walker Stalker Cruise will be more relaxed than a typical cruise although guests are advised not to wear zombie make-up or clothing on embarkation day as security photos will need to be taken. Norwegian Pearl‘s facilities will be open as normal, including the casino, 4-lane bowling alley, rock climbing wall, health and fitness centre, sports court, and video arcade. Norwegian’s Youth Programme will also be available for children sailing on-board.

Events planned for the cruise include question and answer panels, activities, late night parties, gaming, costume contests, themed nights, and more. Make-up experts will also be on-board offering optional Zombie Make-Up Experiences.

The zombie-themed sailing is expected to attract 2,200 zombie fans. Prices start from $975 (approximately £618) per person (including taxes and fees) based on two adults sharing an inside cabin on a cruise-only basis. Families will receive a $300 youth discount (approximately £190) for children aged between 6 months and 14 years when they are added as the third, fourth or fifth guest in the stateroom. Gratuities, soft and alcoholic drinks, room service, photo opportunities, autographs, and zombie make-up experiences are not included in the fare. The organisers are offering the first 1,000 guests who sign-up and book a stateroom a limited-edition lithograph signed by Norman Reedus (Daryl in The Walking Dead).
