Kids cruise from just £1 on a summer holiday with Holland America Line

This August, Holland America Line is offering a 12-night Mediterranean Tapestry family cruise through Spain, France, Italy and Greece, where kids can cruise from just £1 as part of the line’s ReadySetSail early booking offer.

Embarking in Barcelona on ms Nieuw Amsterdam on 8 August 2015, the ship will call at Marseille (for Provence; France), Monte Carlo (Monaco), Livorno (for Florence/Pisa; Italy), Civitavecchia (for Rome; Italy), Naples (for Pompeii; Italy), Taormina (Italy), Kerkira (Nisos Kerkira, Corfu; Greece), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Kotor (Montenegro) and finally Venice (Italy) where the ship will stay overnight before guests disembark the following morning.

Prices start from just £1,299 per adult on a cruise-only fare based on two sharing an ocean-view stateroom. Children sharing a cabin with two adults can also cruise for just £1. Fly-cruise prices start from £1,899 per adult and £379pp for the third and fourth guests.

Cruising is an easy way to travel with children; guests can see numerous destinations without stressful car journeys or worrying about finding something kids will eat. On-board ms Nieuw Amsterdam, children aged two or above can join Club HAL which offers age-appropriate activities, tournaments and games. They can also try out the Culinary Arts Centre where professional chefs host special kids’ cooking classes and demonstrations.

Other benefits on selected itineraries included within the ReadySetSail promotion includes free upgrades from an Ocean View to Verandah stateroom, a Worry-Free Deposit, £1 cruise fares for third and fourth guests sharing a cabin, free parking for transfers to and from Harwich, and special rates on selected shore excursions. Suite guests on selected itineraries included in the ReadySetSail promotion will also receive $300 on-board credit per stateroom, a free Wine Navigator Package (3 bottles) and two free soda cards valued at up to $100 per stateroom.
