There are plenty of familiar faces on Marella Explorer 2’s dining scene. And they cater for all kinds of taste buds – whether you fancy some European eats or fiery Asian flavours.




The Market Place
You can watch the chefs whip up around-the-world dishes at this buffet restaurant. It’s stocked with lots of different food stalls, hence its name, The Market Place.

The Mediterranean
On Marella Explorer, this place combines pizza, tapas and Portuguese meat skewers. There’ll be a slightly different offering onboard Marella Explorer 2, so watch this space.

Latitude 53
The main waiter service restaurant is a good-looking place, with a gold-and-grey colour scheme and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Vista
You’ll find Vista on the first floor of Latitude 53. Come evening, it transforms into a contemporary Italian restaurant.

Surf & Turf Steakhouse
This place does what it says on the tin, specialising in all things meat and seafood. The menu stars various cuts of steak and you can watch the chef cook yours on the open grill. The interiors are inspired by the meaty menu, as well, with chopping board artwork and leather booth seating. A cover charge applies for dining here.

Kora La
You’ll feel like you’ve switched continents when you dine at this restaurant. Oriental-style lanterns and paintings are paired with a pan-Asian menu of curries, noodles and sushi. You’ll pay a cover charge to eat here.

The Dining Club
This fine dining restaurant was made for foodies. You’ll be treated to high-end cuisine, making it the ideal spot for an extra special evening. There’s a charge to dine here.

Snack Shack
Food stalls, beach huts and oversized deckchairs set the scene at this laidback eatery. As such, you can look forward to grab ‘n’ go lunches and snacks, like hot dogs and burgers. There’s a drinks station on hand, too.

Entertaining
Just like on Marella Explorer, Indigo is the ship’s flagship venue. It caters for daytime drinks with a view, as well as all-night dancing. A couple of other bars sort you out for laidback drinks, like the Squid and Anchor pub. For full-on glitz and glamour, the Broadway Show Lounge steps into view.

Broadway Show Lounge
This show lounge is big enough to rival a Broadway theatre. And that’s not all it’s got going for it. There are 12 shows on offer, including two brand-new numbers – exclusive to Marella Explorer 2, plus it’s waiter service, so you can get a drink without missing a thing.

Indigo Casino
If you’re feeling lucky, you can try out the slot machines and card tables at the Indigo Casino.

Indigo Club
You’ll find the club in the middle of Indigo. It flaunts a dancefloor and a DJ booth, as well as an extra bar.

Indigo Bar
Indigo lays claim to a huge bar, where flare demonstrations and cocktail-making sessions take place. There’s also plenty of seating for taking in the 360-degree views – day or night.

Bar @ The Mediterranean
If you’re after a quiet spot, this bar’s the one. You’ll find it outside The Mediterranean, and it’s the place to come for Mediterranean specialities and views of the horizon.

Squid & Anchor
This pub at sea is a modern take on a traditional British watering hole. As such, it’s got a decent range of draught beers and some outside space. Plus, this place is the home of a live band, quiz nights and a couple of gaming machines.

Atrium Bar
This bar caters to pre-dinner drinks, which you can sip to a background of low-key entertainment.

Apertif
Champagne and Prosecco are on the menu at this speakeasy-style bar. It’s a great spot to head before or after a meal at one of the speciality restaurants.

The Shack
This deck bar provides cool-down drinks in between sunbathing. You’ll find it at the back of the ship, so it’s got sweeping sea views.

The Veranda
Cocoon chairs and Balinese beds give The Veranda its luxe feel. It’s split over two decks, and you can order drinks straight to your lounger.

Pool Bar
Like the name suggests, this bar sits next to the pool, so it’s great for grabbing drinks and frozen cocktails.

The Coffee Port
This place sorts out caffeine fixes, with Lavazza coffee and sweet treats. A small charge applies here.

Pop into the studio for a professional photoshoot. You’ll also find kiosks, where you can view and buy all the photos captured by our onboard photography team.

Broad Street Shops
When the ship’s at sea, it’s time to hit the shops. The onboard boutiques are stocked with everyday essentials and loads of duty-free products, including perfume, jewellery and souvenirs.

Flutes
If you’re after something bubbly, Flutes is the bar for you. You can sip glasses of Champagne* or Prosecco while listening to the sounds of a pianist. Plus, there are handy ‘press for bubbles’ buttons dotted around.
*Please note, Champagne isn’t included as part of the standard All Inclusive package or the premium drinks package.

Ballroom & Latin Dancing
There will be 'Chance to Dance' sessions onboard. These are informal, 30-minute, unhosted events where we play music and you can dance the foxtrot, tango and other ballroom favourites. Each day onboard Marella Explorer 2 can be different. Unwind at the Champneys Spa, sunbathe by the pool or perfect your putt on the minigolf green – those are a few of the options. Just so you know, these facilities are subject to change and images are for illustrative purposes only.

Champneys Spa
Like at any other Champneys Spa, you can book in for treatments, like facials, body wraps and massages. Plus, there’s a beauty salon, a relaxation room, made-for-two suites and treatment cabins with hot tubs. There’s also a sauna with floor-to-ceiling windows.

The pool is split in two by a small stage in the middle, and you can look forward to daily entertainment.

Our Royal Suite is the crème de la crème of cabins. Not only does it line up a bedroom with a king-size bed, but it also packs in a separate living area with a sofa bed, a dining area and a dressing area. You've also got an en suite bathroom with a shower, a WC and a tub, plus a big balcony with a whirlpool. And all this measures up at a sizeable 94m2.

The Executive Suites live up to their name, with separate living and sleeping areas. The 46m2 suites come with twin beds in the bedroom, which you can convert into a queen-size. There's a double sofa bed in the separate lounge, too. In the en suite bathroom, meanwhile, there's a shower and a WC. And a furnished balcony rounds things off nicely.
