Why cruise on this ship?
Ros Crana was purchased by Caledonian Discovery in January 2012 and is being converted ready to carry her first passengers in May 2013. She has the capacity to carry 12 passengers and up to 6 crew members. The main difference between Ros Crana and her sister barge Fingal is that Ros Crana has an upper deck galley and dining saloon with great views outside.
There are two restaurants onboard. The dinners feature expertly prepared dishes, which are served in decadent surroundings.
Whilst onboard, guests can unwind and enjoy a drink or two whilst taking in some live piano music.
On select voyages, they invite talented local entertainers onboard to share local music, dance, and other cultural performances that highlight the destinations visited. Weather permitting, these performances take place during casual deck barbecues.
Health and fitness
Those guests who are looking to be pampered may want to check out the onboard spa. Here, they will find a number of treatments and massages waiting.
Those looking to partake in something a little more exhilarating should find the complimentary water sports more to their liking. At select ports, guests will be able to take part in a variety of water based activities, as well as taking advantage of the complimentary snorkel gear offered.
Kids and teens
Please note, mv Clio does not have any dedicated Kids/Teens facilities.
All Staterooms onboard are spacious and offer ocean views. All are equipped with a queen-size bed (convertible into two twins), closet, flat-screen satellite TV, DVD/CD player, telephone, mini-refrigerator, safe, and a private bathroom with shower.
