P&O Cruises is a cruise line that has become much-loved by British travellers over the years. The oldest cruise line in the world, having been established in 1837, P&O is today owned by parent company Carnival Corporation, along with brands Princess Cruises, Cunard, Holland America Line, Seabourn, Costa Cruises and AIDA. The cruise line’s new megaship, Iona, is due to launch this year will be the largest cruise ship ever built for the UK market with a passenger capacity of 5,206 and crew of 1,800. She will feature world-class entertainment headed up by musical director and P&O ambassador Gary Barlow, an impressive SkyDome venue and the first gin distillery at sea. Iona’s sister ship will join the fleet in 2022. P&O Cruises announced this year that it would be selling its much-loved ship Oceana after 18 years of service.
