Cruise Itinerary
Day 1
Fly from the UK to Miami, USA
Fly from the UK to Miami and make your own way to the heart of nearby Miami South beach for an overnight hotel stay.
Day 2
Fort Lauderdale, USA
Make your own way to Port Everglades on the edge of Fort Lauderdale to embark the spectacular Sun Princess.
Day 3
Princess Cays, Bahamas
A day to spend on the private island of Princess in the Bahamas for a beach BBQ, excellent sunbathing and perhaps some water sports.
Day 4
At sea
Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
Day 5
San Juan, Puerto Rico
San Juan is the capital of the island which is 110 miles long by 40 miles wide and was claimed by Christopher Columbus for Spain in 1493. Spain possessed Puerto Rico for over 400 years, despite attempts by France, the Netherlands, and England to capture the island. Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory of the United States where Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens. Attractions include Bioluminescent Bay- a truly brilliant natural wonder, this bay, particularly on moonless nights, literally glows in the dark. Flamenco beach is in a nearly wave-less, sheltered cove where fish swim right up to the edge of the water that is waist deep for quite a stretch and has at least 20 yards of crystal clear visibility underwater. Visit the El Yunque rainforest where you can swim in the waterfall.
Day 6
Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas (U.S. Virgin islands)
St Thomas is part of the US Virgin Islands and THE duty free shopper’s paradise in the Caribbean. Charlotte Amalie is the capital – and this quaint town is a joy to walk around with its cobbled streets and alley ways filled with the best shops in the Caribbean – but not so much “in your face” as the other islands. Unlike most of the other islands this is the US of A in the Caribbean – it is clean, organised and well run; you may think that you are in one of the Florida Keys. The best beach is Magens Bay (voted one of the top 10 beaches of the world) and is approximately 6 miles away from the capital on the other side of the island.
Day Days 7 to 8
At Sea
Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
Day 8
Fort Lauderdale, USA
Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of America with its maze of inland waterways. Perhaps head to las Olas Boulevard for some great shopping, try out the beach or explore the Everglades.
Day 9
At sea
Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
Day 10
Cozumel, Mexico
This island is just 12 miles long and situated 20 minutes ferry ride from the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Cozumel is really a staging post for cruise passengers to visit mainland Mexico with its Mayan ruins at Tulum. Cozumel town is lively with its many bars and myriad of shops. Explore the Xel Ha aquatic park with its subterranean rivers, natural pools and sacred Mayan Lagoon. We found the scuba diving here to be the best in the Caribbean. The best beach is located in the Punta Sur Ecological Park.
Day 11
Belize City, Belize
Belize is situated on the Central American mainland next to Costa Maya in Mexico and it is a close neighbour to Honduras. It was formerly known as British Honduras and gained full independence in 1981. It has the second largest Barrier Reef in the world at just under 200 miles long, which protects lagoons teeming with marine life and 450 islets.
Day 12
Mahogany Bay, Roatan Island (Honduras)
Roatan is part of a cluster of island archipelagos situated ten to forty miles off the northern coast of Honduras. Roatan is located in between Utila and Guanaja Islands. These islands are a gem in the western Caribbean, and they are surrounded by the largest barrier reef systemin the Northern hemisphere. The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef is only second in size to Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Roatan is 40 miles long and at its widest its only 5 miles wide. It's a long and narrow island. Roatan's highest point is 900 ft above sea level. Roatan has an east-west orientation, and its northern and southern coastlines are both visible from several points on the island.
Day Days 13 to 14
At sea
Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
Day 15; Fly from Miami, USA to the UK
River travel
Disembark the ship in Port Everglades and make your own way to Miami airport for your overnight flight home.
