Kochi, located in Japan's Shikoku Island, is famous for scenic nature and delicious skipjack tuna as well as for its yuzu production. Kochi also boasts a rich history with one of Japan's most famous samurai, Ryoma Sakamoto, being born in here. Prior to the Meiji Restoration, Kochi was known as the Tosa Province. Kochi port is known as the 'Queen of Arabian Sea' as it was an important trade center for species on the western coast of India from the 14th century. Occupied by the Portuguese Empire in 1503, Kochi was the first of the European colonies in colonial India.

Renowned for its bounty of fresh seafood, Sakaiminato is a fishing town backed by mountains in the Honshu region. Izumo Grand Shrine is one of Japan’s most important Shinto temples, and the six-story, black Matsue Castle is one of the oldest surviving Tokugawa Samurai castles. View the snow-capped Mount Daisen, the vermilion, elaborately carved Hinomisaki temples or soak in the Kaike Onsen hot springs by the sea. The Adachi Museum holds a collection of modern Japanese art, while the Tottori Flower Road is a 124-acre flower garden. On the streets, a number of statues commemorate the Yokai figures created by the locally-born manga artist Mizuki Shigeru.

Sokcho-si is a beautiful coastal city located in the northeast of the Gangwon-Do province of South Korea. The city was the part of North Korea from 1945 till the end of the Korean War. In fact, there is a proper area dedicated to restaurants and food stalls, known as "Foodtown" where you can find mainly Korean style beef, chicken, and pork.

Niigata City is located only two hours away from Tokyo by bullet train (Joetsu Shinkansen), which makes it very accessible to explore the city’s unique culture, cuisine, and nature.
