Why cruise on this ship?

The Flying Clipper is set to become the largest sailing ship in the world, with five masts and a rigging made up of square sails.

find your perfect cruise

Dine out on a comprehensive menu of international foods that are all prepared by our passionate, professional chefs. You’ll be able to taste delights from around the world and go on your own little culinary tour of the places you visit (and some that you don’t).

In line with the Star Clippers belief that cruises are more enjoyable without restrictions and formalities, we would not presume to dictate either your seating preferences or a dress code. On all of our ships, there are no set times at which you should dine and you are free to sit with whomever you like (including officers who are known to eat amongst the guests). Leave your black tie and ball gowns behind, relax, and make yourself at home within the casual elegance that is a Star Clippers cruise.

There will be an array of public areas available on board the ship including a spa, three swimming pools, dining room, a library, function room, salons, piano bar, glass Dive bar, sports bar and an alfresco Tropical bar. The ship will also offer a water sports platform that enables passengers to enjoy direct access to the sea while at anchor.

Enrichment onboard Flying Clipper is done via classes about sailing-related topics. The Captain's daily briefing on deck is wonderfully informative, and a chance to hear some great storytelling as well.

Health and fitness

There will be three swimming pools, a spa and a gym on board, and the ship will offer a water sports platform that enables passengers to enjoy direct access to the sea while at anchor.

Kids and teens

Children are welcome onboard Star Clippers cruises. While there is no structure programme providing supervision and care for young children, they are invited to participate in shipboard activities suited to their ability. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children occupying cabins as the third person will be charged the third person rate when availability permits.

Across five decks, the Flying Clipper will offer enough accommodation for 150 crew members and 300 passengers, with options including luxury cabins, balcony suites and owner’s suites. Every passenger will be able to enjoy TV and entertainment facilities from their accommodation, while Wi-Fi will also be available across the whole ship.
