Queen Elizabeth, Mediterranean

5

I had heard about Cunard's reputation for service but I cannot praise them enough for the way they looked after my husband, who can only eat liquids. If anyone is worried about cruising with special dietary requirements then Cunard is the line for you. The menus for the next day were brought to us each evening for my husband to choose from, the meals were prepared by his own chef, liquidised and served in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble, which removed all the usual worry of will there be anything for him to eat. All we had to worry about was the slightly turbulent seas, which meant we missed two of the scheduled stops but Cunard managed to fit in an alternative of Elba on one of those days. The Queen Elizabeth is a beautiful ship, just the right size and with plenty of top class entertainment (we had three performances by Alfie Boe which was a great surprise!). We will certainly be cruising with Cunard again.

I love the formality of this cruise line, dressing for dinner etc. Only wish there was a more open style of dining which is only available to club balcony grade and above

The cruise was a 'follow the sun' cruise. We sailed to the Bay of Biscay and went up and down several times. Dinner each night was exemplary as was the entertainment. The lack of a buffet was the rea...
