Joined the ship in Tenerife for 1week Canary Island cruise. Embarkation very slick and simple. Cabin was as expected- clean and everything in working order- greeted by cabin steward who explained everything to us. Buffet experience was not good- there has been a definite drop in standards since Covid - limited choice of uninspiring dishes. After 3 days we decided to use the restaurant instead of buffet for lunch - what a difference! Excellent service and good menu options - we will never use buffet again! Entertainment was mixed - guest performers were good but the in- house Electric Avenue show was awful - not up to High School standard. Also disappointing that guest performers were repeated within the week. Usual problems caused by other guests’ selfishness - sun beds being reserved with towels and noisy neighbours in the cabin. Overall we enjoyed the cruise and came away happy.
