First cruise with P&O. Enjoyed the whole experience apart from a couple of things. One shore excursion was a total waste of money. The Train and Pirate experience in St Maarten was not worth £90. The train went out if the docks and in 2 minutes pulled into a Pirate experience which was ok for kids but not for adults. The tour of Philipsburg was the only good part. On the return we visited a cheese shop for a tasting. The cheese offered was so minimal a mouse would have been malnourished.
The other issue was the dress code onboard for evening was not adhered to by a number of guests. The dress code guide clearly states No shorts. Most people dressed well but a minority wore swim type shorts and vest tops. Totally unacceptable on a cruise with P&O. Ok for Butlinsvmaybe
