Marella Explorer 2, Western Mediterranean and Atlantic

October 2022 was our 10th Marella cruise and 2nd cruise with them in 2022. It was a good cruise and fortunately we had great sunny warm weather for so late in the year. Less staff to passenger ratio is extremely noticeable although I must say the crew on board are lovely and really hard working. Food in the main restaurant is still good but was better pre-covid although Vista on board Explorer 2 was really nice, we paid extra for Kora La but definitely worth it. The Market Place buffet was all right at breakfast but both myself and my husband found it difficult to find anything nice to eat at lunchtime (salad bar and buffet choices were not good). Entertainment was all right but having experienced the entertainment on a Celebrity ship there is no comparison. We always travel in a group so make our own entertainment on board if the shows are not to our taste.
All in all I still enjoy cruising with Marella and will no doubt cruise again with them in the future.
