A great trip to Madeira, the Canary Islands and Spain. Ship, cabin, food and entertainment were all excellent. Would highly recommend the cruise. The only downsides were one of the shore excursions and the price of WiFi. The shore excursion we chose was the Lobos Island Cruise and Lunch in Fuerteventura. We recall the trip being advertised as cruising round the uninhabited island of Lobos in a catamaran. Unfortunately we were taken in a fairly old and uncomfortable glass bottom tourist boat. And we didn’t circle the island but spent some time hanging around one area waiting to drop anchor. The lunch however was excellent as was the tour guide who took us to the boat. It was a shame there was no commentary on the boat and that we didn’t see more of the island.
Our second issue was that of the cost of WiFi. It was $45.00 for 2 hours! That has to be extortionate in anyone’s mind. I think in this day and age it is excessively expensive and Cunard should look into making WiFi inclusive as so many other cruse lines do.
Those two issues aside, the whole trip was fantastic and I have no hesitation in recommending it at all.
