Video highlights of the Britannia naming ceremony have been released by P&O Cruises.
This video distils the ceremony into a short package of highlights. It includes a snippet of Rob Brydon as host, clips of the Band of the Irish Guards and the Royal Marines Band Service, a shot of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers in action as well as a cameo performance of Strictly Come Dancing. The highlight of the event is Her Majesty The Queen naming the ship formally as “Britannia”.
P&O Cruises has also released another video of the Gala night held on-board on the night prior to the naming ceremony. This video includes commentary from wine expert Olly Smith, celebrity chefs James Martin and Atul Kochhar, Strictly Come Dancing judge Darcey Bussell, and more. The video also features a clip of a witty speech given by Rob Brydon, star of P&O Cruises’ current television advertising campaign.
