This November travelers can choose to leave hectic holiday schedules behind for Crystal Cruises’ rejuvenating Caribbean journey of Mind, Body and Spirit. Programming will be led by renowned Tai Chi and yoga masters, fitness expert Debbie Rocker, and a health and prevention specialist from the esteemed Cleveland Clinic. The 11-day Thanksgiving voyage features a focus on health and wellness with a full schedule of daily fitness classes and seminars including Tai Chi, yoga, Pilates, as well as Crystal’s signature “Walk on Water” program and professional golf instruction by a PGA pro.

From November 19 – 30, the award-winning Crystal Serenity will set sail from Miami on its Tropical Passage cruise, calling upon the islands of Grand Turk, St. Barts, St. Maarten and Aruba, and concluding in Caldera, Costa Rica. The tranquil island setting is an ideal backdrop for embracing the healing traditions of Tai Chi.

A recent study by the National Institute of Health has confirmed the positive effects of Tai Chi, with Tai Chi participants reporting improvements in physical functioning, bodily pain, vitality and mental health. Crystal guests will experience the benefits of Tai Chi first hand during daily classes with Dr. Martin and Emily Lee, noted experts, authors and founders of the Tai Chi Cultural Center. Dr. Lee, a Stanford PhD, will also lecture on the Tao of Youthful Longevity: the Tai Chi Way, blending modern science with the ancient philosophy of Tai Chi.

Guests will have the opportunity to stretch their bodies and minds through daily yoga with 18-year yoga veteran Pat Laster, a specialist in the field of relaxation therapies, and learn to focus their minds to control their muscles during daily Pilates classes.
