Saga offers three new premium river cruises with AmaWaterways

Saga has introduced three new premium river cruises with AmaWaterways to offer guests more opportunities for luxury cruising. Saga has introduced three new premium river cruises with AmaWaterways to offer guests more opportunities for luxury cruising.

Passengers can choose from itineraries on the Rhine, the Danube and the Rhone on-board a selection of AmaWaterways river cruise ships. Each ship is beautifully furnished and menus are designed by a team of classically-trained chefs. The spacious air-conditioned staterooms have French balconies (a sliding glass door and rail) or twin balconies, plush bedding, an extensive music library and English language TV stations, as well as free high-speed internet access. Leisure facilities include a sauna and fitness area, sun deck, heated pool, whirlpool and walking track. Bicycles can be used on a complimentary basis when in port and for relaxation there are comfortable lounges, a bar and dance floor.

On the seven-night Vineyard and Vistas of Provence itinerary guests will fly to Lyon to board the 148-passenger AmaDagio. After spending a day in Lyon the ship will cruise along the French waterways and will call at Belleville, Vienne, Tournon, Viviers, Avignon and Arles (for Les Baux de Provence). Passengers will then transfer from Arles to Marseille for their return flight home. Prices start from £1,999 per person including return flights from London and transfers, subject to availability.

On the seven-night Romantic Danube itinerary guests will fly to Munich and transfer to Vilshofen to board either the 164-passenger AmaPrima or AmaSerena where the ship will remain docked overnight. The following day the ship will cruise to Passau. Day three will be spent at Linz and on day four there will be calls to Melk and Krems. The following day will see the ship call at Vienna with a call to Bratislava planned for day six. Day seven will be spent in Budapest with an stay overnight before guests fly back home. Prices start from £1,899 per person including return flights from London and transfers, subject to availability.

On the seven-night Enchanting Rhine itinerary guests will fly to Basel to board the 164-passenger AmaSonata. Over the course of the river cruise the ship will call at Breisach, Strasbourg, Speyer, Rüdesheim, Koblenz, Cologne, and finally Amsterdam where guests will enjoy an overnight stay before flying home. Prices start from £1,899 per person including return flights from London and transfers, subject to availability.
