We love NCL, we embarked in New York Feb 2020, very easy embarkation as we have worked up to platinum on their latitudes tier level,which also gives alot more perks as have enjoyed up to now 7 cruises with them , we always go for an inside cabin deck 5 , as near the resturants , theatre, casino, and reception , as you only go in your cabin at night you don't need to see outside , and as we always do the all inclusive drink package and 50 dollars off each shore excursion , and internet for 30 mins all for £99 each , the entertainment was great on the gem ,we saw pricilla queen of the desert , and a rock show among others in the theatre , in everybar there was live music a great soul group and reggae , we always eat in the main restaurant s , never cafe self service ,even for lunch and breakfast lovely food so much choice , the shore excursions were very good , always go for the ones under a £100 , on the last day of our cruise our flight wasn't until 6 pm so from the ship on a trip around New York amazing saw so much and learnt so much even got off in some places to explore then droped at the air port
