Oceania Cruises has built its reputation on a straightforward idea: smaller ships, more interesting ports, and food that takes the regions being visited seriously.
The line's ships carry no more than 1,390 guests per ship – with several even more intimate options, including Oceania Aurelia (476 passengers), Oceania Sirena (648 passengers), Oceania Insignia, Oceania Nautica and Oceania Regatta (656 passengers).

Oceania Cruises calls at more than 600 ports across 100-plus countries, includes all speciality restaurant dining in its fares and is adults-only throughout.
The latest development is the simultaneous release of two complete future seasons – the 2028-2029 Collection of Voyages – giving you plenty of time to plan your dream escape. And bookings are open now.
What does the 2028-2029 Collection include?

The collection spans more than 230 voyages ranging from seven to 180 days, covering North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia and Antarctica. Within that, there are 64 overnight port stays – a key feature of the Oceania Cruises experience, designed to give you enough time ashore to go beyond the standard half-day excursion.
There are 15 holiday voyages for those travelling over Christmas and New Year, two Grand Voyages of 70-plus days each, and two 180-day world cruises aboard the new Oceania Aurelia.
Having two full seasons available to browse and book at once also means you can plan ahead, locking in preferred sailings, reserving shore excursions before they fill, and, where relevant, coordinating flights and hotels.
What makes this collection stand out?

Every Oceania Cruises collection is carefully crafted, and with this most recent release some key highlights are worth shining a light on:
More than 60 of the voyages in the collection include an overnight stay in port, with extended time in cities ranging from Copenhagen, Lisbon and Bangkok to Bali and Malé. Several itineraries also feature late-evening departures, a scheduling choice that gives you the option of a night ashore rather than returning to the ship by sundown.
Oceania Riviera sails Alaska in summer 2028 before transitioning to Asia, with a Japan programme that goes beyond the standard Tokyo-Osaka circuit. Ports include Kagoshima, Ishigaki and Miyazaki – destinations that Oceania Riviera's size allows it to reach, and where larger ships can't call.
Oceania Aurelia, the line's newest and smallest ship at fewer than 500 guests, sails her first two 180-day world cruises in 2028 and 2029, departing Miami and Los Angeles respectively and concluding in New York on both occasions.
Oceania Allura returns for a second consecutive winter Mediterranean season, covering Greece, Turkey, Italy and Spain from November through March. The extended commitment to the region across both years brings Oceania Cruises' total Mediterranean itineraries to more than 80, the line's most diverse Mediterranean programme to date.
Four voyages in focus

Casbahs to Cathedrals
Oceania Sonata | Lisbon to Barcelona | 10 nights | 29 September to 9 October 2028 | from £3,689 per guest
A fascinating itinerary that covers the Atlantic islands and North Africa in a single swing. Oceania Sonata departs Lisbon before calling at Madeira, Tenerife and Lanzarote, then crosses to the Moroccan coast – Agadir, Casablanca and Tangier – before finishing in Malaga and Barcelona. The route is particularly well suited to autumn travel, when the Canaries and Morocco are at their most comfortable.
Legends of the North Sea
Oceania Vista | Southampton to Copenhagen | 10 nights | 12-22 June 2028 | from £3,839 per guest
A summer sailing that threads together the Scottish coast and Norway before concluding in the Danish capital. Ports include Edinburgh (via Newhaven), Aberdeen and the Orkney Islands, followed by calls at Haugesund, Bergen, Stavanger and Kristiansand. This voyage gives each Norwegian port its own day rather than rushing through the fjords, and the sailing ends with an overnight in Copenhagen. Plus, the June timing means long daylight hours throughout.

Brazil to Rio de la Plata
Oceania Aurelia | Rio de Janeiro to Buenos Aires | 10 nights | 22 November to 2 December 2028 | from £2,509 per guest
This is one of Aurelia's shorter sailings – a great entry point to the new ship before the big world cruises depart. The route follows the Brazilian coast south from Rio, calling at Ilha Grande, Búzios, Paraty, Santos (for São Paulo), Porto Belo and Rio Grande, before crossing into Uruguay for Punta del Este and Montevideo, and concluding in Buenos Aires. As one of Aurelia's more accessible sailings, it also gives you a chance to experience the ship's suite-focused layout and near one-to-one crew ratio on a more contained itinerary.
Silk Road Discovery
Oceania Marina | Mumbai to Singapore | 14 nights | 9-23 December 2028 | from £3,989 per guest
A December sailing that covers the west coast of India before crossing to Sri Lanka and heading into Southeast Asia. Ports include Goa, Mangalore, Cochin, Colombo and Hambantota, followed by Phuket, Langkawi, Penang and Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), concluding in Singapore. The timing makes it a strong option if the tropics over the Christmas period appeals to you. And the combination of India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia in a single fortnight is hard to replicate on shorter itineraries.
What's included in the fare?
