1st class cruise staff excellent food 5* entertainment brilliant. My second cruise with ambience this year can’t wait to my next trip with them. Nothing too much trouble.
Third time in Ambassador, lovely staff, slower pace and most (bar a few entitled) fellow cruisers were very social too. Food above average. Excursions could so with some better planning , a bit of a bun fight getting off the ship, all they need to do is allocate people to coaches and stagger them off out of the theatre in 5 minutes intervals, rather than having 10 coach loads trying to fight their way off.
Had a deluxe suite with separate bedroom courtesy of upgrade programme, excellent .

Great cabin, the cabin steward was wonderful.
The food in all areas was lovely.
Entertainment was outstanding every night.
I also did a lot of activities- quizzes, choir etc.
But the best was the fjords and the places we stopped, and the outstanding scenery.
It was very last minute and I managed to get a solo cabin, knowing some friends would be on this cruise, so very exciting!
The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. The food was great... I'm a chef, so I know! Proper clotted cream with freshly baked scones at tea time, lovely fresh salads daily, anything you could dream of for breakfast, and such nice formal dinners in the Hollyrood.
We were lucky with the weather and had some brilliant days out in Spain and Portugal, but it always felt like going home walking back to the ship. Lots to do on sea days and of course, the lovely spa with so many different rooms to relax in. Slept like a log in the comfy cabin and had an all round wonderful time. I don't like Portsmouth Port but everything went smoothly.
7 Days((& Nights!) 80s music cruise to Benelux ports.
Nice talks from Ken Bruce.Martin Kemp, Lulu& co....with great food, quizes & entertainment from on board crew& troupe!
All in all, really, really ace...great bunch of fellow solo travellers, too!
A 5 week solo cruise on Ambience proved to be the highlight of 2022, the most extraordinary year of my life!
Not that I was looking, but I couldn't fault it. The food was amazing, the service was brilliant - nothing was too much trouble - and the best of all for me, I got to play bridge every day.
My cabin was at the front of the ship and the restaurants were at the back. Walking back and forth three times a day meant I got my 10,000 steps in easily and I didn't feel at all guilty having dessert!.
I loved the olde worlde charm of Ambience, the ship never felt crowded or noisy.
I am hoping to do the 31 night cruise in November and I cannot wait to get back on board. X
Cruised from Liverpool to Spain and Portugal. Fabulous ship, top quality food, entertainment and service. Made some great new friends. So good we booked another on board, first time we’ve done that in 10 years of cruising
