Name of the ship was Celestyal Crystal. l have chosen this ship because it had the greatest itinerary. 12 hours Mykonos, 36 hours Santorini. I wasn't expecting any luxury but I was disappointed by the food.
Christmas and New Year cruise from Athens, calling at Rhodes, Limassol, Crete, Santorini, Cairo, Istanbul, Kusadasi for Ephesus, Izmir, Thessaloniki, and best of all Haifa… spending Christmas Eve visiting Jerusalem was the highlight for me. The ship is old but beautiful, a proper ship not a floating holiday camp. Those who prefer all the glitz probably wouldn’t like her, but if comfortable small ships appeal you’ll love her. The food was good, the crew were great, and the price was incredibly good value. A couple of excursions were cancelled due to insufficient take-up, but that wasn’t any of the main ones. Only two full sea days so no time to get bored. I really enjoyed this trip and would love to do it again.

Lovely places we visited and the cruise ship was great and very well maintained staff were great food was excellent and delicious 😋
due to easyjet cancelling flights we had a very bad start.
tui stated that occasionally we had to double dock and sometimes a we had a difficult walk over two ships only twice did we not double dock that blocked any view. also stated that occasionally the top deck would be collapsed for low bridges, it was down for four days and one day we sailed all day and had to stay inside not value for money not as good as a sea cruise.. towns visited and scenery very good
This was a tour round the Eastern Mediterranean over Christmas and New Year. It’s a small friendly ship, with only a few dining and entertainment choices on board, but that was all I wanted. The crew were brilliant too. Maybe it won’t suit those who want a luxury holiday resort aboard. I was much more interested in the ports of call and excursions. Only slight downside was that some excursions weren’t running, not the ship’s fault but the time of year. But most did run, including the ones most important to me. Christmas Eve in Jerusalem, wow!
They’re doing the same trip next Christmas, so anyone can check it out. I travel alone, and the solo price was very good. Cabin was comfortable and roomy.
Cruise was good value for money. Food was excellent and the cabin storage best we have come across. Disembarkation at Tilbury was a complete shambles and took the shine off an enjoyable cruise.
Really enjoyed our cruise around the Canary Islands and across to Spain and Lisbon. The ship is fairly small with great outside space. Unfortunately the weather was not as warm as we expected, took all the wrong clothes and the air conditioning was on high and the bars and lounges were cold. Staff very friendly and our balcony cabin was clean and well
maintained. The daily entertainment was ok and the live music was a bit disappointing. Went to the Theatre 4 times during our 10 nights. Top class violinist and very 2 good musical shows. Very little music around the ship during the daytime but overall it was good and would travel with them again.
