14 nights around the ,Carribbean, food lovely shows great.nice poolside and hot tubs.friendly happy staff.
Overall a very good cruise. The only thing which let it down was the buffet in the Horizon Dining rooms. While it was good food it was never hot, sometimes food which should be hot was almost cold.
Stateroom & service everywhere were excellent.
First time traveling with Princess Cruises and have to say we where very impressed. A level of luxury that was not over the top. All the staff where great though we did at times need help from manager as broken English hampered our need to communicate allergy requirements.
A massive shout out to Darko one of the Maitr'e's. A lovely chap who made everything simple for us.
I'd recommend the ship and company to anyone.
Excellent as always , good to see them back and operating to a high standard . Just what you expect from Princess
The Royal Princess was not the current one but the smaller one now operated by Phoenix Reisen as Artania. It was a very pleasant cruise experience that I had with my late mother. We sailed from Barcelona and visited Florence, Rome and Venice. A very good holiday with very friendly staff and good food, wine and company, although some of the Americans on board took a bit of getting used to.
Footnote: I recently had a Nile cruise, courtesy of Broadway Travel, but it was only part of a holiday, not of the same class as above and rather disappointing.
The main feature of Princess cruises is the onboard activity. Approx. 80 events per day
