1st time with Regent Seven Seas and we were not disappointed. Food was exceptional service was excellent and the balcony cabin was gorgeous. First reaction to the cost is usually " wow.... that's a bit expensive" but with literally EVERYTHING included, it honestly represents good value. Looking forward to our next Regent cruise already!!
What a wonderful experience had on this trip! Good hospitality, good energy, entertainment and foods.
I can get energized and all action one day, and the next I can simply relax and unwind at the spa with treatments for rest and renewal with taking a slower pace. The best of both worlds!
We had to pass Greenland on the way to Iceland, and the ports were very weak. Everything was rudimentary. We could not stop at Orkney, because they would not take out the tenders. The sea was too rough. That was a big disappointment. I wanted to seethe Scarpa flow and the historical buildings. Then we get to Reykjavik, Iceland as the last stop at 5:30. They have room for 50 people out of 750 to take to to the Blue Lagoon. So we missed the best tourist attraction. Bad planning of timing of the ports. Too many days at sea. Nice ship but I dont recommend this trip
Not 6 star, I got a 3 star experience. Jeans and shorts were suggested for dinner on the last night!!!
..Miami to LA 16 glorious nights. Christmas Day on the Panama Canal, wow. Pure luxury but expensive. Everything 6 stars except the excursions.
We went from Miami to Honduras,Belize and Mexico. The service was good when I was with my lady friend but dropped a lot if I sat along! Often couples were served before me even though they had arrived after me. It took 3 complaints and 5 days to get good service when alone!
We went from Miami to Honduras,Belize and Mexico. The ship was not too big. If I was with my blonde lady friend, drinks service was wonderful BUT whenever I sat alone,it was slow. I complained three times about this but it still took until the last day before I got service as quickly as a couple! SOmetimes,a solo lady was served before me. If ladies want equality they should wait like I usually did!
After waiting nearly 2 years because our cruise was delayed owing to Covid, we couldn’t wait to get on board. We weren’t disappointed. Everything looked brand new and sparkled. Although Splendor was, strictly speaking, no longer brand new, you couldn’t tell.
It was my wife’s birthday on the day we boarded, which was part of the reason we chose to cruise at that time.
On opening the stateroom door for that first time, not only were we blown away by the sheer excellence of our accommodation - but the thoughtfulness in its presentation. There were many balloons and a banner wishing her a Happy Birthday; better still - a bottle of chilled champagne. Could it get any better?
Yes, of course it did. Everything, but everything, was excellent. From the wonderful food, the wines and, probably best of all, the sheer quality of the service. It was very, very difficult to disembark from that memorable cruise.
