Travel down to Niagara Falls to enjoy one of natures most beautiful waterfall. Horseshoe Falls is situated on the Canadian side of the Niagara Falls. At almost 175 feet high and 2600 feet wide, it is both the highest and longest of the three waterfalls, carrying close to 90 percent of the total combined water volume. The name ‘Horseshoe Falls’ is derived from it’s horseshoe-bend shape, which it obtained during the 1800’s and early 1900’s when Niagara Falls was a popular honeymoon destination. Prior to that time, it had resembled a more typical arch waterfall. Over the past several decades, erosion has created the waterfall we know and love today, shaped like a large inverted “Vâ€.

Cruise the Inside Passage, Alaska
The fabled Inside Passage is one of the most scenic sea-lanes in the world, and one of the few where deep-draft vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls. The scenery is unbelievable, with forests in a hundred shades of green, tumbling turquoise glaciers, and evocative towns loaded with history, culture and adventure. With most of Southeast Alaska accessible only by boat or plane, the Inside Passage is a lifeline to the outside world.

Juneau is the capital of Alaska perched on a hillside where the historical downtown buildings give it a somewhat frontier feel. 4000ft mountains create a dramatic backdrop to the city, beyond which lies the Juneau Icefield from which 30 glaciers flow, the most famous being the Mendenhall Glacier

Skagway, Alaska
Some of the aspiring Klondike gold rushers who made it to Skagway took a look at the 500-mile journey that still lay ahead of them and decided a change of profession was in order. So many of them set up shops as provisioners that Skagway was the largest city in Alaska by the end of the 19th century. Booms fade and dreams move on, but the glory days still reverberate through the town. Take a ride on the Take a trip on the White Pass & Yukon Railway or ride up the Klondike Highway which will take you to places where you can roll up your sleeves and do some prospecting of your own.

Glacier Bay (scenic cruising), Alaska
Glacier Bay has more actively calving tidewater glaciers than anyplace else in the world. Enjoy scenic cruising and see a UNESCO World Heritage Site that protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in concert with an ever-changing glacial landscape.

Ketchikan, Alaska
Known as the Salmon capital of the world and Alaska’s "First City," Ketchikan offers a wide variety of things to do. Visit the Potlatch Totem Park, home to one of the most elaborate collections of wood carvings in the World.

Cruise the Inside passage, Alaska
Have your binoculars and camera ready as you enjoy further scenic cruising en route back to Vancouver.
