Book a last-minute European river cruise for less this spring. From Austria and Germany to Switzerland and the Netherlands – city lights and big-name sites await

Combine the excitement of a last-minute deal with the calm relaxation of an adults-only retreat with a TUI River Cruise deal this spring.

Now’s the moment to succumb to the urge for a springtime getaway – the deals are too tempting, and the rivers of the continent are irresistibly beautiful at this time of year.

With plenty of great discounts available right now for an impromptu escape without any kids around, TUI once again proves itself as the leader of high value all-inclusive breaks. Here are some of our favourites.

Cast off in April or May for less
If you love a city break, TUI Maya departs Budapest on April 8, 2024, for a seven-night Danube Capitals cruise, including overnight stays in Budapest and Vienna and two independent day visits to Bratislava – the less-visited capital of Slovakia. Focusing on giving more time in the major riverfront capitals in the heart of the Danube sets this voyage apart from the rest.

Also sailing the Danube, TUI Skyla visits six different ports in a week on its Danube Treasures river cruise. Offering excellent value, with full board and tips included, you’ll visit Melk, Durnstein and Linz, as well as the major cities of Bratislava and overnight stays in Budapest and Vienna.

What about the eastern reaches of the Danube? Well, there’s a great last-minute deal on TUI Maya’s seven-night East Danube Explorer voyage, setting sail from Budapest on April 22, 2024. As you depart from Budapest’s famed imperial-era cityscape you’ll head east, deeper into Hungary before cruising the Iron Gates as you make your relaxed way into Serbia and on to Croatia before returning to Budapest to wrap up the voyage.

If you’re looking to maximise your time out on the Danube east of Budapest, TUI Isla’s 14-night Danube Delta Discovery could be just the cruise for you. Setting out on May 13, 2024, you’ll enjoy overnight visits to Budapest and Constanta, Romania, with additional day visits to Belgrade, Giurgiu (which gets you to Bucharest by road), and Serbia’s Donji Milanovac – a small town set in the most magnificent river cliff setting.

TUI’s fantastic last-minute deals reach other waterways too. Setting sail from Amsterdam, TUI Isla offers great discounts on her Icons of Europe cruise, which visits 14 ports in her 15-night transitional cruise to Budapest. This bumper river cruise presents a more in depth experience in Germany, with days in nine different German towns and villages , including Bamburg with its photogenic old town.

All-inclusive adults-only river cruises
TUI River Cruises operates adults-only river cruises, so you’ll be able to relax as soon as you step onboard, without other people’s children (or, to be fair, your own!) running around and getting in the way of your fun.

You’ll be sailing with a maximum of 155 guests on an ideal-sized ship for chilling out onboard and accessing some of Europe’s most idyllic hidden gems. And with one crew member for every four guests, there’s always a friendly face on hand to help answer your questions, or make your cruise extra special.

As standard, a TUI River Cruise is ‘full board plus’, which means that all your meals are included in the price of the cruise, along with teas, coffee and juices at breakfast, and wines, beers and soft drinks with lunch and dinner. All crew tips have also been included so you know that the crew will receive a gesture of your appreciation come the end of the cruise.

As an optional extra, you can upgrade your booking to include name-brand spirits as well as premium Lavazza coffees.
