Norwegian Gem Transits River Ems for Sea Trials Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) newest “It” Girl, Norwegian Gem, left Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, and transited the River Ems to Eemshaven, Netherlands arriving on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007. The 93,530-ton Norwegian Gem has now begun sea trials through Sept. 23, 2007.
