Was suprised how lovely the ship was.Beautiful balcony cabin, food excellent and staff amazing..Shows great and The Captains talk was entertaining.
The pre-embarkation formalities re Covid tets, the almost obligatory Medallion Class apps on Smartphones were so onerous that we nearly cancelled2 weeks before sailing! But we DID enjoy the cruise itself, despite the very mixed weather with rain, low temperatures, and high winds preventing us landing at Guernsey, which was VERY disappointing as we had arranged to meet friends there. (Le Havrs wasa poor substitute ).
Bilbao was even better than I had hoped, but it was cut short by a 3.30p.m. sailing. So we hope to return one day to explore properly.
The evening entertainment was even better than usual , with the 3 main ticketed shows delightig the audience, especially Katherine Jenkins, who really WOWED us!! Full marks to Imagine Cruising for arranging the performances and ticketing so well.
Sadly, the Rail Strike made the disembarkation a nightmare as the few taxis could not cope with the demands of people needing to get to the rail and coach stations. However this was not Princess Cruises' fault, and a sensible Security Officer radio=ed the Taxi HQ for help, and the response was immediate.

Had a wonderful time exploring New Zealand north and south islands. Visited a Maori living village and learned about their culture. The country is so varied and the people very friendly. Cruising Fiordland was much like Norway

We arrived in Athens for a 7 night cruise, on arrival at the ship it look so impressive.
We have sailed with Princess on other occasions, but this ship was a monster, with 30 different places to drink or eat. It was very clean and the staff always hapoy and willing to assist.7 nights does not give you enough time to actually use all the facilities, with over 4000 guests, it never felt over crowded.
Thanks to all the crew for a fabulous cruise.

This was our very first cruise, and the Sun Princess was a wonderful ship to be on. Our room steward could not do more to help us with little requests and advice. The food in the eatery was great, and even in the main dining room we never struggled to get a table even without pre-booking.
Definitely recommend, the staff could not do enough for us
