Was suprised how lovely the ship was.Beautiful balcony cabin, food excellent and staff amazing..Shows great and The Captains talk was entertaining.
Writing has sailing around NZ enjoying the experience meeting new friends. Travelling with Princess after the pandemic is a little tedious with mask wearing is still in operation although not strictly enforced. The all inclusive deal is worth looking at drink prices are steep in my opinion £40 for the cheapest house wine a bottle or £9 a glass , draught Heineken £9 a pint and all drinks carry an extra 18.5% surcharge . Restaurant meals are hit and miss some good mainly average a few poor. Horizon court as a very good choice meals hot and tasty. Theatre shows OK most guest artists have been wanting, residents groups around the bars have been good. Deck loungers and chairs are plenty full. The entire staff as all way absolutely first-class. Lastly don't rely on the friendly shuttle bus any more cutbacks have seen them off. Overall we are having a good time but please be prepared there are many things you took for granted which no longer exists, Making up for lost revenue seems to be the order of the day. Overall rating Good, not Great.

Had a wonderful time exploring New Zealand north and south islands. Visited a Maori living village and learned about their culture. The country is so varied and the people very friendly. Cruising Fiordland was much like Norway

We arrived in Athens for a 7 night cruise, on arrival at the ship it look so impressive.
We have sailed with Princess on other occasions, but this ship was a monster, with 30 different places to drink or eat. It was very clean and the staff always hapoy and willing to assist.7 nights does not give you enough time to actually use all the facilities, with over 4000 guests, it never felt over crowded.
Thanks to all the crew for a fabulous cruise.

This was our very first cruise, and the Sun Princess was a wonderful ship to be on. Our room steward could not do more to help us with little requests and advice. The food in the eatery was great, and even in the main dining room we never struggled to get a table even without pre-booking.
Definitely recommend, the staff could not do enough for us
