![Relaxing Cruising]()
Enjoying very much the tranquility and serenity of this cruising experience.
We saw beautiful scenery, relaxed all the time and enjoyed a wonderful time. Everything was very relaxed and the excursions enabled us to see things which really enriched the whole experience. On board the crew were so helpful and the food excellent. Being able to fly from a provincial airport and having door to door private transport made everything so easy. Now that we can start to travel again we can't wait to travel with Amadeus again.

Upper and lower Rhineland-Palatinate were a disappointment but mid-Rhine a joy to the visual senses. Shore excursions were a disappointment but this was because of my mobility issues. Cologne to Amsterdam in 1vday was a sprint. Don't try to do the Rhine in 7 days .
Would I travel Amadeus again? Definitely.

This cruise from Cape Town was roughly to the standard expected from Azamara and was quite enjoyable overall. However there are three points I would like to make which detracted somewhat from the experience. Firstly our stop in Durban was cancelled, through no fault of Azamara, but we received very little notice and no additional stop was substituted. Secondly the excursions, other that those in Cape Town were below the standard I have come to expect. Thirdly one of the ports we stopped in was an industrial port which was extremely noisy ALL night with clouds of dust billowing around the ship - NOT the standard of past cruises.

Super Caribbean cruise, all good but no staff to ensure guests either washed hands or used hand gel before entering buffet or other dining rooms. The buffet was self served whereas with numbers of guests it would have been more hygienic for staff to serve. Both myself and husband tested on our arrival home to find we had covid.

Another tick off the bucket list.
Cruise fantastic.
Staff couldn’t do more to help.
Food good but not as good as pre Covid.
Have sailed with NCL many times and would do so again.
