This cruise was far better than we had expected having never cruised with P&O before. Great cabin, good dining. Shame there were no formal nights.
A very good cruise at a discounted rate but the service was exceptional. All of the staff were very kind and knowledgeable. The destinations were great and the transfer from the airport to the port was very easy. Food in all the restaurants was delicious. My only complaint is that despite being in the Caribbean there was no local cuisine provided on board in any of the restaurants. I really wanted to taste the local cuisine on our first Caribbean adventure and fortunately we had booked a food tasting excursion in StKitts, which was excellent, and I had hoped for more on board. Other spicy food was available sadly no chicken jerk.
The crew were great and the ship was spotless.
However, the furniture in many public areas was faded and worn. The
arms of chairs in the bar areas had holes in them, and need recovering at least.
The main problem was the food.
Menus very limited and quality of meals very poor, the worst we have
had on any cruise. Also, not all specialty restaurants were open so our
options were limited.
Really relaxing cruise, good service, friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Apart from one excursion (Cruise to the Pitons) which turned into a booze cruise with plentiful free rum and questionable karaoke, the excursions were interesting and enjoyable. The cruise back across the Atlantic was a great chance to totally unwind.
Far too few crew members for the number of customers.
lots of shortage of drinks and food.
Menu repeated after 7 nights
Children allowed to run around the ship un supervised late into the night.
Third p&o cruise, overall enjoyable but noticed general standards slightly lower little touches gone, dining not quite as good, service not quite as friendly .
We had a fantastic flight from glasgow to Bridgetown barbados this was our first ever cruise. Everything went along smoothly 1 of our excursions was cancelled due to the wind which we didn't mind as it added to our adventure .
We have now booked 3 more cruises over the next few years
Would definitely recommend p&o to anyone.
Poor. No welcome on arrival. Ship public areas not very clean.
This was our first Cruise, and we loved it. We have 2 young Autistic Boys (4)(20 months at the time) and the checkin and embarkation was amazing, no hassles at all. All the crew on board made us feel so welcome and were so good with our boys. Great experience and have booked more.
A good cruise but poor entertainment
We have had 4 cruises with P&O on various ships. All have been amazing and the best holidays we have every had. Although our carribean holiday was one day in Barbados and due to covid all other ports were stopped. P&O were fantastic, we had an 8 day transatlanic crossing back to Southampton. We look forward to rebooking this cruise in 2023. Highly recommended to all our friends, where we now have 6 friends who also enjoy cruising. Thank you
The ship is amazing the staff make your holiday they do so much for you! The only thing that let the ship down was the food the paid restaurants were excellent but the dining restaurants was if they were cutting back on the food!!
Fantastic cruise to the Baltics. Service and staff excellent. Entertainment really good. Organised trips terrible and a waste of money
