Great cruise, crew excellent, food great. Just a shame we could not get off in some ports unless on a celebrity excursion. The ships covid precautions where excellent we felt safe and well looked after.
Wonderful cruise with the adult family to Cartagena and the ABC Islands. Ship was beautifully decorated, food was generally excellent. The entertainment was a bit hit and miss. The guest entertainers, with the exception of the Saxophonist and magician, were very average.
The itinerary was very good. Nice alternative to the usual Barbados, Antigua etc islands.
The ship was half occupied because of covid so an absolute pleasure to have no scrum for sunbeds. Staff were mainly absolutely delightful. I had a lovey balcony cabin with no single supplement. Nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the cabin. The food was excellent and the waiter was always happy to go 'off menu' to satisfy my picky appetite. The ship is attractive if a little dour in places - there is muted and just plain dull and I think she veers towards dull in some areas. Because we visited UK ports I didn't do any of the very expensive tours but enjoyed local walks around the port areas. All in all, a great value cruise.
This was a UK cruise with only 560 passengers aboard so not a typical reflection of large ship cruising. Staff were excellent as was food and the drinks that were available on the all inclusive package. No single supplement which was a bonus. I did not do any excursions. Nothing bad about this ship except that the refurb has left her with very muted, if not dull, colour schemes.
Beautiful ship and very attentive staff. Superb entertainment. Ship tours not good value
Really enjoyed it! Not many on the ship due to the regulations but that made it better, no queuing or waiting. The surroundings were very plush, so comfortable. Everywhere so clean and sterile. Good Good in the main restaurant with staff so attentive, nothing was too much trouble. I think (due to lack of numbers) it very quiet. The sky lounge and dancer size were the only lively places. Not much of a D.J, plenty of quiet area's with low pace background music. Oh the ice bar sometimes got a few good tunes going. If you like a lot of quizzes it was right up your alley. We had a lovely rest. The really great thing is that there are so many lifts no one waits long even with the restrictions on, 4 to a lift and you stood on your box so no one was very close to you. We were provided with some lovely thick masks to use and hygiene was high on the list. We felt very safe. Wish we could have stated on.
Sailed with Celebrity many times and on Silhouette twice pre Pandemic. We enjoyed the new Retreat class The lockdown has catapulted Celebrity into near 6 star service category as the training in customer service was so evident for every level of staff and crew. My husband is disabled and the assistance we both received was excellent with attention, understanding and concern. We have sailed with Regent Seven Seas, Crystal and Seabourn. Celebrity are now able to offer the cruise standard now required.
A UK cruise with no single supplement departing from Southampton. The ship is refurbed and colours are now muted, verging on dull. However, she is very clean looking and the balcony cabin was fine. Dining was good with a lovely selection of food. One speciality meal at Qsine was very entertaining with animations throughout the meal. The indoor pool is an oasis of calm as a child free zone. As usual spa treatments were overly expensive and they seemed to get very little trade. Staff were as good as ever. Nothing not to like about the cruise except the rather lack lustre port of Dover!
