My first cruise and what enjoyment it provided. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Excellent time had and various friendships made. No complaints about any part of the cruise, other than I wish it could have gone on for ever.
As I a wheelchair user I needn't extra help with certain aspects, like embarkation and arrival and getting ashore. I found the staff helpful and accomodating in every respect. The beds were extremely comfortable and I had the best night's sleep for as long as I can remember and woke refreshed and ready to face the day. All the corridors and lifts were spacious and the dining areas were easy to get my wheelchair around.
Our cruise would have been amazing, had I realised that there would be many, many unruly young children on board, accompanied by their equally unruly parents. I had misjudged the timing of school holidays plus the fact that all bookings included a free drinks package. Needless to say, many parents started drinking mid-morning, leaving their children to their own vices. I need say anymore than that, other than it's put me off of cruising entirely.
