I can't really find any fault with it. Very efficient the way shows, restaurant and trip bookings were done on the mobile phone. Didn't like the waiting on Covid checks but they were amazingly efficient to be able to process so many in such a short space of time. I am glad they did it. It made you feel safe

Fantastic cruise. Loved the ship and lovely friendly crew. Food was excellent in the main restaurants and the Light club. Lee Mead was fantastic. Will definitely booking again.

A very pleasant cruise to Norway, the staff particularly the waiters and bar staff were highly efficient and very friendly and our room attendant was excellent and although we really didn't see him, our room was kept very clean and tidy. The wearing of face masks was advisory but not compulsory and there were times when it seemed prudent to wear masks, for example at breakfast and lunch during busy times, it seemed the best thing to do. Iona is the biggest ship we have travelled on and when full, would be too large for us, as it was probably less then half full and at times, in certain bar areas, it was extremely busy so cannot imagine how it would work if full. Once we got used to using the P & O app on the phone, booking an evening meal was quite easy and the only night we had a wait was formal night when there were 60 + people waiting for tables before us in every restaurant, so it was quite a wait, but other than that it worked well and if the alert went off before we were ready for the table, we found it easy to cancel our table and rejoin another queue. The food was good, but we couldn't really understand the reason for the different restaurants ie Coral, Pearl, Opal etc as they all served the same menu. Our room was a balcony room at the front of the ship on the 9th floor. The room itself seemed extremely small for two people and nowhere near as large as other rooms we have had previously. The room itself was well appointed just cramped. All in all, a good start to cruising again after Covid.

My first holiday since I moved house twice and a knee replacement in the past six months. I was finding it difficult to move around generally and appreciated the ease of getting around the ship and assistance when I needed it. The staff were amazing. They took pride in their ship and kept the restaurants immaculate. Service in Horizon was great. I managed, after a struggle with a walking stick, to arrive one day at 11.00 am, just as they were closing. Within minutes I was helped to a full English breakfast, fruit salad, and orange juice. Fantastic service with a smile. I can recommend a cruise with P&O if you are recovering from a stressful time. I went with two friends who did things I was struggling to do, but I felt confident finding my way around Iona on my own. I have sailed several times with my late husband with P&O and it brought back many happy memories. Thank you. I needed the break.

Positives. Friendly crew. Great food. Nice cabins (and exceptionally clean). Negatives. Huge Ship - so didn’t actually make it into the fjord (the highlight of the trip) despite only being moderate 31mph winds showing on the ships tv weather screen. Embarkation. Complete chaos. Took over two hours! No allowance for those who need quiet space (eg with dementia/autism). This is a disability rights issue and needs addressing. Poor communication. Eg No indication that restaurant spaces were available despite not being able to book (and many other examples). Entertainment. Rubbish daytime events included a lot of retail outlets trying to flog their products. Evening events were good except for misogyny (women dancers in skimpy outfits with lots of legs open poses - not the same for the male performers). Racism. Eg. I only saw people of colour serving in the restaurants, kitchens and housekeeping. I never saw people of colour in the entertainment performances or spa. It felt wrong and exploitative. It is 2022 and absolutely not acceptable

Fabulous ship, beautiful cabin and public area. Staff were amazing, food was delicious, service impeccable and a wonderful holiday with my mother.

Due to covid ,we were very worried about going back to cruising, we neednt have worried ,we felt safe and had a wonderful cruise on a fantastic ship with wonderful crew who all worked above and beyond to make us confident ,happy and relaxed.

The standard has gone down,we hardly ever saw our cabin stewaerd and did not feel the dining room staff were as friendly
