Beautiful ship food excellent love the Fish and Chip Shop and American Grill
Can’t wait to go on it soon to Barcelona/ Portugal etc
Infinity pools so good
Iona is a beautiful ship. Cabins small and compact compared to other P&O ships. Level of service poor compared to Britannia and Azura. Quality sacrificed over quantity. Staff really helpful.
My cabin became known as the broom cupboard it was so small.
Because I was on my own I paid 1300 for my cupboard were as my friends paid 1500 for both of them.
The use of apps to book a table was strange and found the staff booking you in to restaurant unhelpful.
The first two days the upstairs buffet reminded us of a cross channel ferry.
We only found you could get a banana on the last day of cruise but you had to ask as they were under the counter.
I would not sail with p and o again, very disappointed.
Nice boat
Good food and service
All as expected
Beautiful ship, very easy to get lost. Food very good. Cabins a little compact but fully equipped. Cruised Norwegian Fjords which are amazing. Would recommend Iona - especially the on board gin distillery.
On board and in our cabin within one hour of having covid test. Balcony cabin smaller than those on Ventura but still well equipped and spacious balcony. Although on deck 12 there was still noise from people in hot tubs on deck 8. Service in all dining rooms attentive. More walking on trips than described but still enjoyable. Lovely ship plenty of walking to work off your meals. Most memorable evening sail through straights of Gibraltar. Disembarked just after breakfast.
Excellent ship. Fantastic varied entertainment. Expensive drinks package. Best to use onboard spend as drinks are reasonably priced. Good selection of eateries.
Excellent couldn’t fault it. Can’t wait to go again
Beautiful ship, loved the speciality restaurants, particularly Keel and Cow and Olive Grove.
Good evening entertainment not a huge amount going on during the day.
Decent sized cabin and bathrooms. We had conservatory suite on Deck 8 which we loved, the extra space was well used.
Our first cruise...pleasantly surprised by most aspects. Really disappointed to lose two days on shore due to not being able to dock.
First and last time cruising with P&O. Food was awful not very much choice. Staff were not very helpful or friendly. Previously cruised with Royal Caribbean, nothig was too much trouble for them.
The boat was very nice, but lacked any atmosphere. I expected better from P&O but the experience was awful.
First time on a new ship loved the infinity pools food staff were friendly will go on her again hopefully in October for our 50th wedding Anniversary
Our first cruise. Major disappointment was that two of our shore days did not happen because of the weather (Norweigan Ffords). Lovely big airy ship, great food.Enjoyed the restaurants because the service was fantastic, not so keen on the buffet although there was plenty of delicious options... it felt like a canteen. Cabin was incredibly well laid out with everything we needed and the bed by the balcony doors giving good morning views. Could here no noise at all in the cabin. Entertainment generally excellent. Drink prices comparable with the UK.
Ship too large to get into the advertised port of Geiranger - seems a pretty basic mistake to make !
Itinerary changed 3 times .
Left Southampton late - first destination cancelled , captain said he would try & take us on a “ cruise by “ fijord instead - never updated us - we entered a fiord 36 hours later and we had no idea where we were - communication awful .
On 2 further ports the embarkation time was altered whilst people were ashore & we had no idea until we returned to the ship - the port stop was lengthened & we would have done more ashore if we had known - on one occasion it was changed from 5.30 pm aboard until 8.30 pm ! 3 hours - we returned early to find we hadn’t needed to . Terrible communication & felt very disorganised .
Last 48 hours never heard off the captain !
Never had this experience on previous P&O cruises .
Wonderful new ship
