I had a great time. The Explorer is a lovely ship. The food was excellent, fine dining at its best. Captain John Clark was frequently to be seen mingling with the passengers. I didn’t do any shore excursions as I just love the ship experience and like to wander ashore for a while then returning to the ship to enjoy the facilities for the rest of the day. I particularly liked the silent disco, which they laid on twice during the 7 night cruise. There was a different show every evening in the Broadway show lounge. Cruise director Cameron and the entertainment team were very professional. I would definitely recommend Marella cruises, and will return one day.
