Our cruse ship virtuosa left Southampton to Lisbon then to carnary island's on a fantastic ship something to do everyday the staff are amazing the shows are great the restaurant are good and you can make some great friends in the champagne bar . Why smc its a great company to sail with .

All the staff were phenomenally helpful and friendly, food was good, buffet selection was incredible, generally all round joyful and fun atmosphere. Only down side was how hard it was to find a seat in any of the bar areas, I guess that's one way to encourage people to upgrade to Yacht Club.

Making memories
Took my wonderful elderly parents on this 5 night cruise , knowing this would probably be our last holiday together. Having to use wheelchairs/ walking aids and managing the effects of memory loss meant that a cruise on board a beautiful ship was the best choice to make some lovely memories. Watching my dad's face during the theatre shows and watching him tuck into what seemed like a mountain of his favourite food in the buffets made us all smile. The practicality of always having bathrooms at hand and having designated areas in theatres for those with mobility difficulties made it all very easy. We all loved the opulence of the ship, and enjoyed sitting at different bars listening to music. We also watched a stunning sunset from the sky bar one evening as we left Rotterdam. Wonderful memories which I will always treasure x

I’m sure loads of people love this ship , I went with 5 girlfriends for our yearly short break ! It’s glitzy It’s big , very big! and was also very busy. The various standard entertainment areas not very big and not enough seating anywhere. Cabins were fine Staff were kept constantly busy . Food was not great - not enough menus to go around Veggie options in main dining room were poor. Buffet was total mayhem . The cleaning staff tried their best. We used the spa facilities, they were fine . The last night we were at the very small disco . Full glasses were taken on the dance floor. Spills and the inevitable broken glass! The DJ simply said if you are dancing bare foot be careful as there is broken glass on the floor.! No please clear the floor as we need to clean . Seemingly no health and safety. We left ! On the plus side disembarkation the following morning was really easy and speedy. Hooray! We had fun, we are not old stuffy grannies but all agreed not to use such a big ship for what appeared to be a short booze cruise again!

Amazing in every way
My most recent cruise was on MSC Virtuosa, this ship is amazing in every way. From the minute you board you are enveloped in the most stylish Italian luxury, the Swarovski staircases are absolutely stunning and every corner of the ship has been lovingly thought out. But, what makes this ship even more special to sail on is it's friendly, professional crew members who go out of their way to make your cruise experience one to remember.

MSC Virtuosa worse ship we have ever been on dated cabin threadbare carpet, luggage arrived after midnight, food in MDR aweful three times sent steak back asked forcwell done three time came back blood running out of it we walked out and never went back, buffet was a mad free for all being in a wheelchair they even climbed over you, rampant kids drunk and stoned yescyou heard right stoned, running through corridors 2.to 3 am banging doors, officers doing nothing about bad behavior they just watched them even after being asked to do something about it. This ship has to be Butlins at sea, not a very pleasant experience,

A chartered flight flew us to Barbados. We dropped our bags at Heathrow and next time we saw them was on the cruise ship. Lovely cabin. Great itinerary. Nice food and brillIant entertainment. Could not fault this lovely trip.

Lovely ship but disappointing
Lovely ship, liked the lift system, but don't like it with the ship within the ship as unable to walk completely around the ship, Didn't like the fact there were no quiet bars to enjoy a quiet drink when required. No traditional deck games. Breakfast was awful, on sea days couldn't get breakfast in the restaurant until 9am and then not a proper English breakfast. Buffet the fried eggs looked like they had been cooked in a pan with previously cooked things and were not runny yokes. Normally look forward to a lovey English breakfast but on this cruise dreaded the breakfast. On port days restaurant was open for normal breakfast but they brought everything you ordered altogether and meant the cooked was cold when you reached it.

Everything on the Viruosa was luxurious and glamorous. I felt really spoilt. There was so mych to do, the food and entertainment was great and the very diverse staff were all caring amd hospitable. I would love to travel with them again.

Beautiful ship great food loved the drinks package, the shows were incredible especially the bought ones. How ever the night club was on the children’s deck so full of children? The karaoke bar was great loved the atmosphere but 10till 12 not long enough for adult entertainment this should be on till 1 at least or bring a dJ in that massive room for the adults. But not enough live entertainment in the other bars, once the theatre has finished as there’s not enough seated areas for the amount of people on the ship. Staff was brilliant couldn’t fault any would have liked the cabin guy to introduce himself to us that didn’t happen. We did get a sunbed every day we was on the ship which was great. Loved the champagne bar and could not fault the food in the buffet from breakfast to late night snack absolutely brilliant
