The start of the cruise was unusual, it was too rough out at the Nab for the pilot to safely disembark, so we were 28 hrs late leaving. Not really a problem as it was due to be a sea day. It meant that Tenerife had to be missed out. We know it well, so not a problem. I marked the excursions down as the trip to see Lobos island was a waste of money - boat scruffy, no commentary and all we saw was the sea. Not told, but suspect it was too rough to get near the shore and see the reserve, yes Cunard do know. Rest of excursions were fine. The visit to the Spanish riding School was outstanding and I was able to stock up on my favourite Tio Pepe, something you can’t do if you are on a fly cruise. Public rooms were marked down because of the seats, particularly in the garden room, not as good as the QM. Best part was the crew, all of them, but a special mention for our wine waiter. He knew his job and he suggested new varieties that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Loved the Norwegian towns we visited. Especially loved crossing the arctic circle & experiencing the midnight sun. Queen Anne was beautiful, staff were amazing, many of whom we'd met previously on Q Victoria & Q Elizabeth. As always with Cunard the catering was first class. Loved every minute.

Booked fortnight’s cruise less than four weeks before sailing for a good price, so good value. Food in the main dining room was better than the cruise this time last year on ‘Victoria’ - quality, presentation and taste. The fish in particular was cooked properly. Excellent cleanliness in stateroom. Disappointed with the theatre entertainment - repeats of same performers in same week … Ship’s theatre company did a super performance of ‘Come From Away’, but no real ‘Broadway’ style show with real dancers and costume changes …
