Travelling with Cunard was my first cruise, and basically I was very unsure as I have dreaded the idea of 2000 people on a boat and I have a few food allergies.
From the moment we boarded I was absolutely in love with the boat, the decor, the very friendly staff and most of all the menus in the restaurants. The head waiter in our restaurant would give me the next day’s menu and told me that the chef could make any dish safe for me to eat! I never missed out on the most amazing dishes.
I cannot thank the staff enough. The trip has given me confidence in cruising. We had an amazing trip. Thank you Cunard

Cruise on Queen Elizabeth Melbourne to New Zealand Q309. We heard one hour prior to boarding the ship that the cruise had been cancelled. Neither Cunard or Cruise1st told us it had been cancelled. We overheard a guest in our hotel mention it to someone else. I know the weather had been bad in New Zealand in February, but Cunard or Cruise1st must have had information as a rearranged itinerary to cruise the east coast of Australia had been decided days before and not told us.

The cruise we did was fine but not the one we booked! Hull fouling meant no entry to New Zealand with just 14 hours notice of a major revision meaning we headed up the eastern coast of Australia instead. Given that Cunard had been aware of the issue since November 22 bad form by Cunard.
