Cunard Queen Victoria
VERY disappointing. Last year on Queen Elizabeth this same cruise was WONERDFUL, so we booked it again. The ship was undergoing all kinds of NOISY repairs, metal railings were being replaced. One propeller was obviously damaged, my cabin immediately over this propeller was too noisy to sleep. We spent 3 days in dry dock in Cadiz to repair/replace this propeller, but it was almost as bad afterwards. Many excursions were cancelled with no substitutes, two ports were cancelled. Had we known that these ports of call and excursions would not happen we would not have booked this cruise. Deck staff was not alert, my niece slipped on a wet deck in dry dock. I was not raining, she suffered damage to her back, plus a whiplash. My Butler, Jeanie was the ONE bright spot on the cruise. I would NOT recommend travelling on Cunard based on this cruise and a crossing the year before.

Loved the Norwegian towns we visited. Especially loved crossing the arctic circle & experiencing the midnight sun. Queen Anne was beautiful, staff were amazing, many of whom we'd met previously on Q Victoria & Q Elizabeth. As always with Cunard the catering was first class. Loved every minute.

Booked fortnight’s cruise less than four weeks before sailing for a good price, so good value. Food in the main dining room was better than the cruise this time last year on ‘Victoria’ - quality, presentation and taste. The fish in particular was cooked properly. Excellent cleanliness in stateroom. Disappointed with the theatre entertainment - repeats of same performers in same week … Ship’s theatre company did a super performance of ‘Come From Away’, but no real ‘Broadway’ style show with real dancers and costume changes …

Had the most amazing time. Couldn’t fault anything, the food was great, the entertainment was fantastic. Really enjoyed the stops and got to see some real Norwegian culture.
