The newest ship from Austrian-based Amadeus River Cruises made her debut in May and is already setting new standards for luxury river cruising on the Rhine, Danube and the Dutch and Belgian waterways

Amadeus Riva’s spacious public areas blend five-star luxury with contemporary design, and her guests have a choice of dining venues including the elegant Panorama Restaurant, classic Café Vienna and indoor/outdoor River Terrace bar.

There is also a range of stylish suites and cabins, featuring walk-out balconies and drop-down panoramic windows, and the ship gets top marks for sustainability, thanks to a high efficiency engine that significantly reduces CO2 emissions.

CAFE VIENNA

Authentic Viennese speciality coffees are the order of the day at Café Vienna, so look out for Wiener eiskaffee – an indulgent treat made with milk, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream – or try a fiaker, an espresso with cognac and cream.

PANORAMA

Aptly named, the airy Panorama Restaurant offers guests the chance to enjoy a magnificent breakfast buffet, numerous lunch options and five-course evening meals with local wines. And with floor-to-ceiling windows, everyone gets the best view in the house.

WELLNESS CENTRE

The well-equipped wellness centre has a spacious gym and treatment room where you can book a relaxing massage or beauty treatment. And if you fancy taking your exercise ashore, there’s a fleet of onboard bikes available at no charge.

SUN DECK

Watch those lovely river views drift by from the comfort of the Sun Deck. Well provided with seating and plenty of shade, it’s the perfect spot for afternoon tea or an ice-cold beer – and to help you work up a thirst, there’s even a chance to play crazy golf, too.

PANORAMA BAR

The social hub of the ship offers everything from light breakfasts for early risers to live music and snacks for night owls. With a full bar menu including cocktails, draught beer and local wines, this elegant setting is just the spot for making new cruise friends.
