The Caribbean has long been a place that draws travellers in with its promise of turquoise waters, island rhythms and warm evenings that last long after the sun dips below the horizon. This winter, Virgin Voyages is answering that call in style.

All four of the line’s ships will be sailing these waters until March, with itineraries that range from short bursts of island life to extended journeys deep into the Southern Caribbean.

Departing from Miami or San Juan, these voyages offer choice, flexibility and the unmistakable Virgin Voyages twist.

Scarlet Lady began her Caribbean season in November, sailing out of Miami with a collection of shorter voyages lasting four to six nights. These itineraries are designed for those who want a quick taste of the region without committing to a longer trip.

Destinations include Mexico, Turks and Caicos, and the Bahamas, with each sailing offering a flavour of the Caribbean’s variety. Central to many of these cruises is a call at The Beach Club at Bimini, Virgin’s exclusive private retreat in the Bahamas.

Here, travellers can relax in lagoon-style pools, sway in hammocks beneath palms or join in the lively atmosphere created by DJs and live performers.

Valiant Lady: a week of island immersion

Valiant Lady has been in San Juan since November. The itineraries are built around seven-night roundtrips, each one providing a fuller immersion into the islands.

Depending on the voyage, guests might find themselves exploring the lush green peaks of St Lucia, wandering colourful towns in Barbados or uncovering the history and culture of Antigua, St Maarten, Dominica and St Kitts.

With more days ashore and ports visited, these cruises allow for a deeper dive into the diversity of the Eastern Caribbean.

Resilient Lady joined the Caribbean programme in November and will remain in the region throughout 2026.

Like Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady focuses on seven-night roundtrips, departing from Miami and reaching destinations such as Jamaica, Grand Cayman, the Dominican Republic and The Beach Club at Bimini.

These itineraries balance the appeal of lively, well-known ports with opportunities to relax in Virgin Voyages’ private Bahamian hideaway.

Brilliant Lady: extended adventures

For those who want more than a week away, Brilliant Lady provides longer voyages lasting up to 12 nights. Arriving in the Caribbean in mid-October, Virgin Voyages’ brand-new ship will sail out of Miami before relocating to Los Angeles in March.

The ship’s itineraries stretch further, weaving in Southern Caribbean destinations that are less commonly found on shorter sailings. Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire and Colombia all feature, alongside Antigua, St Kitts and St Maarten.

These voyages are tailored for travellers who want time to experience a wider range of cultures, landscapes and histories – while sailing aboard the line’s latest ship.

We love that most sailings in the Virgin Voyages Caribbean programme include a stop at The Beach Club at Bimini.

The Beach Club at Bimini is a purpose-designed, adults-only retreat where guests can enjoy white-sand beaches, clear waters and a day that shifts from calm to vibrant as the hours pass.

Morning yoga sessions give way to poolside cocktails, afternoon DJs and evening bonfires. Dining is included, with menus inspired by Bahamian flavours.

Festive and themed sailings

Virgin Voyages is also offering a range of special seasonal voyages that add another layer to the experience. Festive cruises in December bring Christmas and New Year celebrations to the Caribbean, pairing the islands’ natural beauty with onboard festivities.

Valentine’s Day sailings provide a romantic backdrop of sunsets and island nights, while Halloween cruises offer a playful twist with themed events at sea.

These one-off itineraries mean guests can choose a voyage that matches the season or their mood, adding variety beyond the standard calendar.

While the ports and itineraries are central to the appeal, Virgin Voyages’ onboard experience remains a major part of the story. Each ship is designed to feel like a boutique hotel at sea, with bold interiors, inventive dining, lively entertainment and a distinctly adult atmosphere.

Many inclusions come as standard, from dining across multiple restaurants to entertainment and fitness classes. And with no children on board, the focus is on delivering experiences for travellers who want choice, comfort and a touch of irreverence.
