Went with p&o as have been for last 12 years this was the worst it's ever been went for 2 weeks Christmas and New year first week was just about acceptable 2nd week was chaos to many passengers not enough staff the staff were clearly not trained and lacked experienced if you went for breakfast at 10am the queue was out the door and they had closed one side of the buffet making things worse, if you complain they just shrug there shoulders will go with someone else in future if you were a first timer you would be disappointed
Ports of call were all outstanding.
Found the restaurant service terrible. Really slow and obviously not enough waiters. The staff on board generally were not friendly and sometimes a bit rude. Expected us to move out of their way and didn’t even acknowledge with as much as a smile. Not one of the crew deserved any special mention. Ship overall was fine. Buffet restaurant ok but chaotic when busy
A great family cruise!
Lovely cabin, entertainment okay in evenings not a lot on offer in daytime. Drinks package expensive and quite a lot of conditions to abide by.
A lot of time in port due to two embarkation/disembarkation days.
£4 per person each way to use very short shuttle service too.
Two formal nights on a 1-week cruise too much, one was enough!
Joined the ship in Tenerife for 1week Canary Island cruise. Embarkation very slick and simple. Cabin was as expected- clean and everything in working order- greeted by cabin steward who explained everything to us. Buffet experience was not good- there has been a definite drop in standards since Covid - limited choice of uninspiring dishes. After 3 days we decided to use the restaurant instead of buffet for lunch - what a difference! Excellent service and good menu options - we will never use buffet again! Entertainment was mixed - guest performers were good but the in- house Electric Avenue show was awful - not up to High School standard. Also disappointing that guest performers were repeated within the week. Usual problems caused by other guests’ selfishness - sun beds being reserved with towels and noisy neighbours in the cabin. Overall we enjoyed the cruise and came away happy.
Excellent relaxing fun time with great customer service and friendly staff. Cabin staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet service and selection suited us.
This was my 1st cruise and stay.
Had to move cabin which was a Deluxe balcony dble,on 3rd day because of noise coming from somewhere, not
other passengers!
No noise in new cabin.
Staff are wonderful and I used the Spa.
No complaint with cabin comfort, bed etc, food amazing and I used room service,I was on my own and the staff in the
resturants can't do enough for you.
What a lovely experience!
Excellent value for money. As with all cruise lines, every time you go they appear to cut back on something that you got on the previous trip, however, the prices have not increased for many years. The waiters work exceptionally hard, but they are understaffed which impacts the service. The entertainment from the shows is magnificent and the best from any cruise line we have been with but the exception is a lack of quality speakers.
Ship is a bit dated, enjoyed the cruise was my 1st a bit more attention to cleaning in public areas would have been the best idea not to wait for an outbreak of norovirus then blame the passengers for bringing it on board !
Food was good, entertainment was ok, room was a bit strange why would you put a disabled person in a room with beds on either side of the wall, making it difficult to get in and out of bed, I would have complained but I enjoyed the view from the window.
Would I go again yes I would but with a bit more knowledge now of what to expect.
Highly enjoyable first cruise to Greece with P/O.
