Quite a while since we sailed with Cunard but it felt immediately like going home. Cunard is our favourite cruise line and I (think) this cruise was our 14th with them. We had a very nice cabin on deck 1 which is our favourite deck. The food, service and entertainment were very good. We visited Spain and Portugal which we have done before. It was nice to be on board so near Christmas as it was very festive just like when we were on the Queen Elizabeth a few years ago. I am looking forward to joining Cunard again this year on one of their ships - maybe the Queen Anne!
Panorama Suite was great although really a good sized room, not a suite.
Service was excellent, room cleaned twice a day.
Food delicious though slightly better at the start of the trip.
Would have liked a few more activity options so will be back for an Active and discovery cruise next time.

First time with Azamara . The staterooms were snug and the bathroom tiny but the cruise was one of the best we have been on. The food was the best, and with only having 670 people on board there was never a queue. The itenerary suited us as you could walk to most cities and towns. Cant wait to book with this cruise line again
Russian Centric cruise
More than 90 of the 140 guest were Russian speakers and less than 14 English speakers
Programs, guides, announcements lectures, all russian
Got off the ship before then end of the cruise and had to find my way back to Reykjavik
We had a wonderful cruise with great food and service. Of course we couldnt visit St Petersburg so we went to Lithuania and Poland instead. We love the Queen Victoria, shes beautiful and the ambience is so friendly.
We booked this cruise very last minute. The cruise ship was the Bolette It was very dark with lots of dark wood and colours making it uninviting. The evening shows were terrible and very amateuristic. The shore excursions were very expensive compared to other cruise lines. We would not travel on the Bolette again but would consider the Balmoral which is fresh and light.
First time doing a river cruise - Amsterdam to Basel -, it was quite a different experience from the mid-size ships ocean cruises. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere without loosing your privacy, the attention to detail by the staff small team, the fine dining from breakfast to diner to snacks.
The surprised from a less romantic Rhine River than I was expecting was largely compensated by the thrill at each gate crossing (and there are many!) that makes this cruise so special. A marvellous way to see my beloved Europe from a different angle!
