Excellent question! One of the best things about river cruises is how relaxed they leave you, and a spa treatment after a busy day of sipping wine on the sun deck and exploring half-timbered towns is hard to beat.

If you’re due to sail on Riviera Resplendence, you’re in for a serious treat. It features a spa and wellness area where you can enjoy a range of treatments, such as massages and facials. 

One thing to consider is that they do cost extra. While your fare will include accommodation, excursions, full-board dining, a drinks package and more, spa services aren’t covered. To be fair, this is the case across pretty much all river and ocean ships.
