It spoilt it for us as was American spring break 1900 loud children on board. If we were informed of this we would have changed our dates.
Ship was very tired looking, did not cater for this many people in public areas. service was very slow, we had issues with our cabin even after reporting it several times, was not corrected.
Food was slow to come up in resturants and was tepid on arrival, my quest was a veggie and they made her a pizza with no cheese on and salami on it.
Finance department, even after paying for drinks package were very quick to stop use of your card unless you put money on or gave credit card details which made is feel like criminals.
I am sure if there was less people on board service would have been better.
Staff themselves over all with this many people to deal with were always joyful and smart.
entertainment on board was not the best. I have been of quite a few cruises with different cruise lines. Norweigian will not get me on with them again.
I have been on many Cruise Ships and I was looking forward to going with the NCL group. The cabin was classes as a Suite with a Balcony but was very small you literally had the Wardrobe one step away from the Bed
The bathroom was small and the sitting area was small The so called Balcony had 2 uncomfortable chairs and a small table not a lot of room
Overall what would put me off going back with NCL was that the food in every Dining Room was Luke warm and we complained several times but it never got better, also charging £20 a day for Service charge when we had paid gratuity charges
So It’s put me off booking with this Cruise Line in the future
Overall I had a great time. Most staff I encountered were happy and pleasant to deal with. I found all the food great! I did have a few issues though. I was upset that the in-person muster drills were back in place. I could not see what was being demonstrated or hear what was being said. The E-Drills are so much more effective in providing safety information. The Housekeeping has changed on NCL. It is once per day, not twice. I never met my room steward, when the room was made up was inconsistent and apparently random and also poorly done. From what I was told by other guests, this was pretty common as the room stewards have been reduced and they are asked to do more. Room service at night is almost non-existant. Only O'Shea's is open after 10:30pm, or room service. No take-out from O'Shea's either. I was hung up on twice by room service, and it took 2 1/2 hours for my food to be delivered. 30 minutes after I cancelled the order.
This was our third NCL cruise. I would describe it as floating 5* hotel. Even if you don’t want to do tours when you are in port, there are always fun activities onboard and tbh no one should ever be bored!
The appalling service of NCL when booking and mistakes and misinformation given such as no COVID PCR TEST required and then having to have one when boarding and being charged £79 for it means I will not travel with NCL again. They never offered an apology for any of the errors they made.
I had many problems with the cruise. I had problems booking excursions on line and told to wait till on ship but the ones I wanted were sold out.
Food particularly fish was often overcooked.Shop closed and very limited items to buy and unable to buy a toothbrush or toothpaste. This was a problem as my suitcase was not delivered. The entertainment however was brilliant the best I have experienced on a cruise.
