Norwegian Epic, run by Norwegian Cruise Line, is a large ocean resort ship launched in 2010 and last refitted in 2025. This vessel can carry up to 4,070 guests across 2,114 cabins and 1,724 crew members.
This size of ship focuses on onboard variety, with a wide selection of venues and activities available throughout the sailings. Children are welcomed on board Norwegian Epic.
The ship offers 14 restaurants and eating venues, including seven complimentary venues and seven available at an additional cost. Restaurants serving Japanese, Asian and French food are some of the options available. Alongside this, guests will be able to relax at 16 bars and lounges.

Norwegian Epic has 2,114 cabins across 24 accommodation categories. That includes inside and outside options. Amenities vary across the tiers, with higher-category cabins including a generous array of extra perks. But across the board, you'll still experience the signature Norwegian Cruise Line approach to quality and service.
Excellent itinerary, food good, bathroom no issue, even with 2 teenagers sharing the cabin, entertainment great, condition of the ship very good. We had a great time and would book again without a second thought...
2nd time on the Epic, and every bit as good as the first time, four years earlier. Certain areas starting to show their age slightly, but doesn't take anything away from this fantastic ship. The cabins are great, even with the slightly strange bathroom layout, but have everything you need and are comfortable and spacious. The staff throughout the ship are fantastic and so friendly and accommodating. Food is also excellent, be it from the buffet, or from one of the many restaurants. Embarkation and disembarkation was quick and easy, especially disembarkation. Excursions were very good and well organised and tour guide was very accommodating with partners mobility issues. Overall, a fantastic cruise from NCL.
Many things seem to have changed with NCL since we last sailed before the Pandemic and not for the better. We used to have bottled water in our cabins daily. There is now a small carton each on embarkation day and that's it. The mini bar is now used to store 3 different types of water for which you have to pay. We ended up carrying water down with us each evening as we have to take medication. The TV in our cabin wasn't working the first day we boarded. In fairness our cabin steward did get someone from maintenance to it and most channels were working but the page where it tells you about the daily route didn't update and was still on our first days sailing when we left the ship. The SPICE H2O on the back of the ship which we regularly use was closed during our cruise so we were given a non refundable credit of $50 for the inconvenience. When buying a future cruise deposit we were given a $100 non refundable credit. Whenever I have purchased one previously ALL non refundable credit on the account was deducted from the cost of the deposit as it was classed as a purchase. This time only the $100 was deducted and the $50 wiped off my account. When I queried it with customer services I was told they don't deduct non refundable credits any more, but they couldn't explain how they could take one non refundable credit and not the other. The perks for Latitudes Loyalty programme are not like they were either. A lot of them apply whether you are a new cruiser or a Platinum member. Not much incentive to build your points up.
We have sailed several times and only ever with NCL but we were very disappointed with our cruise this time and will be seriously looking at other cruise lines for a future cruise even though I have a future deposit.
